Bank of America Can Eat Me
Ok, so a friend told me she's had problems with them, I told her I hadn't had any issues, well I hadn't. Until today.
I know this is a problem everywhere, but it's annoying.
So, I opened up a new account a few weeks ago, it's a joint account. After opening it I called customer service to see when I would receive my checks, and b/c the second name wasn't on the account. Chick tells me she's setting it up to send me checks, ok good.
Fast forward to today - at least a week later. I can't get into online bill pay for the second account, where all the money is, so I call, oh, they didn't enable that. Then, I ask about the checks and the debit card, well the checks were never ordered, and although the chick from before said I'd be able to use my debit card to access my new account, I can't. She never did that. That's one obnoxiously stupid chick.

I don't have Bank of America, but I've heard lots of people have problems with them. If it makes you feel any better, though, my bank f-ed up when I changed my name. The a-hole at the Middletown branch was really rude to me, and told me my name was changed on both accounts, and that I'd receive my new debit card and credit card within a week. A few weeks go by, I still haven't received them, so I call the 800# and the jerk never ordered replacement cards - or even bothered to change my name. So first of all, he's a dumbass, but it pissed me off even more b/c he was so rude to me. So I filed a complaint about him with the corporate office, and supposedly they're following up on it. Next time I went to that branch, I got a call that afternoon to see how my service was when I was there - so hopefully that means they are following up on my complaint.
