UPS: Postal Shit
Can I just tell you how much I hate UPS right now? So I ordered two tops from JCrew, b/c I have no cute going out clothes at all. I was very excited as they were both on super sale and totally awesome. Well, UPS lost my package.
They delivered it to a completely different town, with a completely different address, there wasn't one thing that was the same about the two addresses. So they tell me, well the driver went to look for it, but the people in that house haven't seen it. Well I'm sure someone walked off with it! So, while the driver scours the neighborhood (I don't even believe for a second this is happening) I have to sit and wait for them to find it.
I can't get the clothes I ordered again b/c they were clearance and they're sold out. And, UPS tells me I have to call the shipper (JCrew) and have them put a tracer on it. Well WTF is the point of putting a tracer on it when they know what happened to it?

Yeah, that's terrible they screwed up so badly.
I don't know why I've always had an easier time with FedEx compared to UPS. I just have.
My parents got to face it recently when they ordered a new laptop from Dell. Dad changed the shipping address to Mom's office before the thing was even done being "born."
It was still sent to the house. So Dad calls up UPS and says, "hey, why don't you hold it and I'll go pick it up in North Haven." But apparently they then processed the change of address.
While Dad is at the UPS place they tell him it's on the truck already, so he can't pick it up and fill him in on the change of address. Still does not come that day to Mom's office.
Finally on Day 3 it is delivered to Mom's office. Not only have I had better overall service with FedEx I've even sometimes gotten packages early and stuff. Me no likey UPS.
I'm having a nightmare with UPS in the UK. Ordered a variety of PC parts what seems like an age ago now but they never call when I'm home. I called customer services (who have a very poor manner) and explained what times I'll be home but they just don't do anything! What made things worse was when I found they're card on my doormat saying they attemped delivery when I was in the whole time - the driver never rung the bell!!!
I have had the worst experience with UPS in Manhattan! They post a infonotice to the wrong department, then I call to try to arrange a delivery time that would work for me, AND THE WORST EVER CLIENT SERVICE, says they can`t do anything, I tell them SO WHAT DO I DO, AND THEY DONT GIVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS!! IS HELL!!
I just Googled "UPS shit" after they failed to deliver an item twice. Jesus.
Doing business with a company that uses UPS services? Big mistake!!! In Toronto they have 1 centre for the entire city (!!) which is located outside the city limit but have hundreds of UPS stores. Of course they say they can't leave your package to one of the stores for you the pick it up. Why not?! Why is it possible with Canada Post but not UPS? They are retards!
They're shite in Grenoble (France) too. I forgot to check who Philips use for their deliveries.....oh nooo...11 days after the order and just 4 days before christmas with 2 no-turnups, I'll have to abandon and go to thé shops..

The UPS "service" is a total worthless shit in Brooklyn, NY as well as everywhere else. They brake things, they mix up addresses, they stop any deliveries to anyone who ever complains about them, etc. I do believe that as many people as possible MUST STOP USING THE UPS SERVICES at all. They must go broke and join the happy unemployed crowd. NO ONE deserves to be paid anything for this kind of work.
